TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2. Entry Eligibility
Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years and over who are connected to the cinema industry in Victoria or Tasmania, including staff, family, friends and guests.


2A. Interstate Eligibility – Victoria and Tasmania Only
This raffle is open only to eligible participants located in Victoria or Tasmania at the time of ticket purchase.
Tickets for this raffle are not offered for sale in any other Australian state or territory.
Residents of jurisdictions other than Victoria or Tasmania are not eligible to enter.
Tickets are not offered for sale in New South Wales under any circumstances.


3. Ineligible Persons
The following individuals are not permitted to purchase tickets or win prizes:
• Council Members of CIBF
• Persons involved in conducting or witnessing the draw
• Immediate family members of those persons


4. Ticket Sales
• Ticket price: $2.00 each
• Maximum number of tickets: 5,000
• Sales period: 20 March to 13 May 2026, or earlier if sold out
• A ticket is valid only once payment has been received


5. How to Enter
Entry is completed by purchasing one or more raffle tickets from authorised sellers.
Each ticket stub records the entrant's name, address and phone number and corresponds to one entry in the draw.


6. Prizes

First Prize
• $2,500 Gift Card (GiftPay or equivalent as issued by the Promoter)

Second Prize
• Double pass to attend a Victorian premiere screening of a major release
• Plus a $500 Gift Card

Third Prize
• A signed promotional poster (as described on the printed ticket)

Consolation Prizes
• A selection of double passes provided by major exhibitors, including Hoyts LUX, Village Gold Class and Reading Gold Lounge, in the quantities shown on the printed ticket.

All prizes are not transferable, not refundable and not redeemable for cash.


7. Draw Details
• Date: Wednesday 27 May 2026
• Time: 2:00 pm (Victoria time)
• Location: CIBF Office, 9/650 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Victoria
• Method: Random draw from all valid entries
• An independent witness will be present


8. Winner Notification and Publication
Winners will be contacted by telephone using the details on the ticket stub.
A list of winners will be published on cibf.org.au within 28 days of the draw.
Only initials and postcode will be published.


9. Prize Delivery
Prizes will be delivered by post or email, depending on the nature of the prize.
Winners must provide any required delivery details when requested.


10. Unclaimed Prizes
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize, the Promoter will manage unclaimed prizes in accordance with Victorian raffle requirements and will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner.


11. Record Keeping
Ticket stubs, draw records and associated documentation will be retained for three (3) years.
All records will then be securely destroyed.


12. Privacy
Personal information collected from ticket stubs will be used solely for administering the raffle, including contacting winners and delivering prizes.
Entrants will not be added to any future mailing lists based on their raffle entry.


13. Changes to Draw
If circumstances outside the Promoter’s control require changes to the draw date, time or method, updated information will be published on cibf.org.au.
Any changes will comply with Victorian raffle requirements.


14. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss arising from participation in the raffle or use of a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable Australian law.
